The American public has been conditioned by Republican think tanks to equate the word "liberal" with governmecint waste, ineffiency, and disregard for moral values. This from a party that has murdered thousands of innocent men, women, and children in Iraq! This from a party that is wasting hundreds of billions of dollars to finance that war. This from a President who has lied about weapons of mass destruction! In their view, billions for an unnecessary war in Iraq is God centered morality, but millions for needy in our own country would destroy American initiative!

The criminal gang that has hijacked the Republican Party would have you believe that Secular Humanists are not real Americans and that atheists are disloyal. This is a lie! There is nothing in the Constitution to support this egregious belief! God is not mentioned in the Constitution. The Constitution permits atheists to solemnly affirm to support the Constitution if the person elected does not as a matter of conscious choose to swear.

The founders of our nation were men of faith, but they knew very well the evil that results when religion intrudes into government.
